Art for Olympic medalist and coach Gerard Kemkers
Jim van Overbeek made an original painting and a Limited Edition artwork series of a speedkater in action for Gerard Kemkers. Gerard is Olympic medalist Speedskating (Wintergames Calgary 1988), former coach of Team USA and the present coach of the famous TVM-Team of The Netherlands (Sven Kramer, Erben Wennemars, Renate Groenewold, Ireen Wüst).
The painting 'Green Skater' symbolizes the successes of the team, especially during the Olympics in Torino (2006) and Vancouver (2010).
Opening special mosaic



Jim van Overbeek created a new impressive Pop-Art Mosaic for the Antoniusschool in Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands. The artwork has been placed on the outside wall and is made together with 'Bouwontwerpbureau Splatch' and the children of the school. This year the school is celebrating its 100th birthday.
The special opening by Mr. Th.Weterings, the Mayor of Nieuw-Vennep took place on May 31th.
Large mural


In 2009 Jim van Overbeek and his crew created a large Pop-Art mural in the Dutch city of Nijmegen, the oldest city in The Netherlands. The stonewall is 22 metres long, 2,5 metres high and will be a real eyecather in town. The sketches for this artwork has been made with the help of 60 children of Montessorischool Dukenburg in the city Nijmegen. The result is an unforgettable dreamlandscape.
The special opening took place on May 25th.
Artbus for SCANIA
Jim van Overbeek created a special artbus for SCANIA, the well-known Scandinavian truck- and busmanufacturer. The sketch above gives an impression. The colourful bus will be used for promotion in Europe.

Colorful 'Tree of Dreams' for the city of Lelystad, The Netherlands

Lelystad is the capital of the province Flevopolder in The Netherlands. In the nearby future, the city wants to place 13 sculptures on 13 of their most important roundabouts. Jim van Overbeek was asked to present his plans to the city-council in october 2008. His colorful 'Tree of Dreams' is an icon from nature
in his well known 'New Pop' style with different images and symbols of the city itself.
